A blackout series by christopherpoindexter:

“The sea lit the boys heart and he fell heavy to love” Blackout poetry (redout) done with old book pages and glued onto one of my old skate decks.

Fun fact: before computers, government agents actually used red or brown markers to redact confidential documents. They then ran the documents through the copy machine at high contrast, which made them pure black and white. (If they used black on the originals, you couldn’t see the redacted material.) —AK
